Green Initiative

MediFit is committed to operating in an environmentally-responsible manner by integrating initiatives into our programs to help clients meet their environmental goals, and by motivating our team to think and act ‘green’ through our internal corporate program, LEAF (Life Ecology And Fitness).

In the design and development of fitness centers for green fitness companies and organizations, we recommend environmentally friendly products to our clients that are proven to be operationally sound. Areas such as sports flooring, lockers, carpet and energy-saving technologies for lighting and laundry have produced accelerated return on investment for our clients.

In addition, MediFit actively engages in supporting our clients’ green corporate wellness initiatives. We recently partnered with a client to create a special location at the fitness center where employees could drop-off ten plastic bags in exchange for one reusable shopping bag made from recycled materials.
