Shawn Kollasch
Director, Design and Development
Dallas, Texas

Shawn Kollasch has over 15 years of experience in the Health and Fitness Industry.
In 2001, Shawn joined MediFit and has held many operational roles during his tenure
including Program Manager, Regional Account Manager, National Account Manager,
and Director of Operating Support Services. Now working as the Director of Design
and Development, Shawn’s responsibilities include leading fitness center design
consulting, equipment procurement, and serving as the operational leader to technology
development and deployment across MediFit’s book of business. Shawn earned his BS
in Exercise Sports Science from Iowa State University, and is a certified Health Fitness
Instructor through the American College of Sports Medicine.


Jay Shafran
Director, Special Projects
New York, NY

Jay has been a leader in fitness and health facility design and management for the past
20 years, having developed his first of two centers on the top floor of 7 World Trade
Center. In the past 10 years, He has been involved in the design of eight out of every
ten major corporate wellness facilities in New York. He has worked on projects around
the U.S., and as far away as Beijing. Before joining MediFit in 2011, Jay was Managing
Director for Wellness 360. He oversaw the design, development and implementation
of the architectural program, equipment bids and purchases, staffing, policies and
procedures, and day-to-day operations within corporate health and fitness centers, and
on-site physical therapy units. In recent years, Jay has also consulted on the design of
various wellness and amenities spaces, including: wellness facilities, medical suites,
childcare spaces, lactation rooms, meditation rooms, lounges, children’s rooms and
screening rooms. Jay earned his BA in Biology and English Literature from Brandeis
University, Waltham, MA.


Matt Cadile
Vice President of Development
San Francisco Bay Area

Matt joined the management team in 2011 as a Senior Development Consultant,
and was promoted to Vice President of Development in January of this year. His
responsibilities to MediFit clients include: initiating client-partner relationships, guiding
the feasibility study process, supervising facility design and development, managing
fixture/furniture/equipment documentation, and overseeing installation. Matt brings 20
years of industry experience to MediFit and is regarded as one of the top fitness center
design and operations consultants in the industry. He is credited with the development
of over 150 upscale commercial athletic clubs, community centers, worksite and college
fitness centers throughout North America and
Europe. Matt has a BS in Business Administration and Communications from California
State University.


Bill Bourque
Chief Operating Officer
Florham Park, New Jersey

Bill joined MediFit in 2002 as a consultant, developing and managing the MediFit
New England Region. In September 2003, he was hired as MediFit’s Vice President,
Business Development. Bill assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2005
providing leadership and management for the departments of employer health and
wellness services, business development, marketing, product and service development,
operating support services, and design and development. Bill has extensive knowledge
and experience in fitness center design consulting from serving as the project manager
for the development of commercial fitness centers to functioning as a design consultant
for nearly 100 worksite fitness centers. A recipient of two degrees, Bill has a BS in
Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and an MBA from
Northeastern University. He currently is an Associate Editor for the American College
of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Health and Fitness Journal and serves as a book reviewer
for ACSM industry publications including ACSM’s Health/Fitness Standards and
